FAQ

Is this lawn care invoice generator free?

Yes. It uses the same free InvoiceSnap generator: no signup, and your data stays in your browser.

What is the difference between a lawn care estimate and an invoice?

An estimate (or quote) is the price you propose before the work, usually with a validity date. An invoice is the bill after the work is done, with a due date. Switch the toggle above and the same line items carry over.

How do I bill a recurring monthly lawn service?

Use one line such as “Monthly lawn maintenance plan” with the monthly price, and list the visit dates in the notes. Or bill per visit: quantity = number of visits, rate = price per visit.

Should I charge sales tax on lawn care?

It depends on your state and the service. Some states tax landscaping or lawn services, others do not. Check your state revenue department and enter the rate in Tax %.

Can I save it as a Word or Excel file?

The generator downloads a PDF (choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog). PDF is what most clients expect and it cannot be edited by accident.
